29 Aukuso 2023: The teamTAEKWONDO Samoa; have made our country proud by returning home with an impressive haul of 15 medals from the NZ Kukkiwon Cup 2023 - Taekwondo New Zealand National Championships.
This outstanding achievement included 4 gold, 9 silver, and 2 bronze medals, showcasing the immense talent and dedication of these young athletes. The team, consisting of 17 competitors, embarked on their first international competition with determination and a strong desire to excel.
Despite being relatively inexperienced on the global stage, they demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their sport, leaving a lasting impression on both their opponents and spectators alike. Undoubtedly, the tournament was a resounding success for the KLAS Taekwondo team, revealing the hard work and preparation that had gone into their performance.
