Since their inaugural game against the Crusaders on March 4, 2022, Moana Pasifika has made significant strides in their performance. Two years later, the team continues to improve and is doing much better than in previous years.

In the current season, Moana Pasifika has played 14 games and secured 4 wins, a marked improvement from last year when they managed only one victory. This progress highlights the team's growing competitiveness and potential in the league, despite finishing in the 11th spot, just ahead of the Waratahs.

Crusaders Keep Playoff Hopes Alive with Dominant Win Over Moana Pasifika

In their recent round 15 matchup, both the Crusaders and Moana Pasifika needed a bonus point win to keep their slim hopes of a quarter-final berth alive. On a typically chilly Christchurch evening, the reigning champions, Crusaders, rose to the occasion, securing a decisive 43-10 victory.

While Moana Pasifika showed resilience, it was the Crusaders who achieved their goal, keeping their playoff dreams alive. Now, the Crusaders' playoff fate hinges on the outcomes of the Fijian Drua and Western Force's respective contests. A loss for both teams is essential for the Crusaders to advance to the playoffs.

Despite missing out on the finals, Moana Pasifika's improvement this season with memorable wins and growing presence in the competition provides a foundation for optimism and further development.
